San Antonio

For the past week, we had the opportunity to go to San Antonio to visit some family. We had the best time EVER! Here's a quick synopsis:

Tuesday: Arrived in San Antonio :)

Wednesday: Went to Wildlife Ranch (a drive-through zoo) and fed some animals.

The zebras and ostriches were the most aggressive...in a "I'm really hungry" way.

We didn't really like the petting zoo part. The goats kept jumping up on us.

Thursday: Ryan and I left Morgan with her Great Aunt Sarah and took a trip to Austin for the day. We rented beach cruisers and rode around Town Lake.

Then we rented a two-man kayak and spent an hour paddling around Town Lake. So fun!

Friday: We visited the Alamo and the River Walk in downtown San Antonio

Here are all of us girls. Ryan and Uncle Chris were severely out numbered!

Mo with Aunt Sarah.

Ry and I on the boat tour of the River Walk...the BEST way to see it all.

The whole family...Mo is hiding.

Saturday: We took a day trip to Corpus Christi. We soaked up the sun and swam in the ocean. It was so beautiful!

Morgan didn't like the waves splashing up at her.

Sunday: Ryan, Morgan and I visited our friends Trent, Liz and William Leavitt (from our ward in Provo) who live in San Antonio. It was fun to visit.

Monday: Ryan had an interview in San Antonio, then drove to Austin for two office visits, so Morgan, Becca (our youngest cousin) and aunt Sarah and I went to the San Antonio Zoo.

Tuesday: Left San Antonio :(

Some of our other activities included eating, eating, and more eating...at Chuy's, the Wildlife Ranch Cafe, The Melting Pot, Freddy's, Rudy's, etc.

We loved spending time with our family...hopefully we'll join them down there one of these days!

I hope you do join them down there! I have only been to Chuy's once, but really liked it. And Rudy's is our favorite bbq joint! Next time hit El Taco Tote. It's super yummy. And Sea World! I'm so glad you got to visit Texas!! Please join us! (Even if we are a 5 hour drive away.)
